Why we built this
Promotion and recruitment exams across the Nigerian civil service and its agencies are high-stakes, but the materials to prepare for them are scattered — old past questions passed around in photocopies, outdated study guides, or nothing at all. PromoPassNG was created to give civil servants and applicants one focused place to practise: real exam-style questions, organised by subject and agency, with clear explanations for every answer.

To make quality, exam-focused preparation accessible and affordable to every Nigerian civil servant and applicant preparing for a promotion or recruitment examination — whatever agency they serve.
Our vision
A Nigeria where no civil servant walks into a promotion exam unprepared for lack of access to good study materials — where preparation is a matter of putting in the work, not a matter of who happened to have the right connections or the right photocopy.
Who we serve
Civil servants preparing for promotion examinations across grade levels, and applicants preparing for recruitment and aptitude tests into specific ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs). Our Core Civil Service Bank covers subjects common to promotion exams across the board — the Public Service Rules, the Constitution, Financial Regulations, Office Procedures, Scheme of Service, English, ICT, the Code of Conduct, and current affairs — and sits alongside agency-specific banks for the parastatals we currently support.
Our commitment to quality
Every question in our bank is written to reflect the real style, tone and subject matter of promotion and recruitment exams, with an explanation for the correct answer so you understand the reasoning, not just the letter. Content is reviewed and updated as regulations, current affairs and exam patterns change.
Growing our coverage
We currently support a selected set of ministries, departments and agencies — not every MDA in the federal civil service. We are continuously working to add more agency-specific question banks over time, and we prioritise new agencies based on demand from the civil servants and applicants who use PromoPassNG.
